Field trip to Homestead Farms

Aaron continued his tour of all the pumpkin patches in the DC metro area with a field trip to Homestead Farms with the entire Murch Kindergarten.  (Unfortunately, drinks for the parent chaperones did not come with the price of admission.)  The highlight of the day was, hands down, riding the school bus!

New York, New York

We spent a busy weekend in NYC celebrating a certain milestone birthday for Liza and hanging out with friends.  As always, it went much too fast!

Butler's Orchard

We spent a beautiful fall day at Butler's Orchard with Kate and the rest of Franklin Montessori picking pumpkins, riding slides and having a picnic before heading to NYC for Liza's birthday party. Aaron got to play hooky from school and join in the fun.

A visit from the tooth fairy

Aaron celebrated our mini-Michigan reunion by losing his first tooth!
Very appropriate, since Charlie Penn lost his first tooth the last
time he was at our house. The tooth fairy did make an appearance,
leaving Aaron a note and a shiny gold dollar.
