Fun in Florida

We escaped the heat (no really!) and spent a long weekend in Florida visiting Michael & Andrea and their brood.  This was the first time Katie, Aaron and Talia got to meet the twins -- it's amazing how big they've gotten!  We even made it down to Miami for a trip to Parrot Jungle.  Thank goodness they didn't kick us out when both Aaron and T dropped the live parrots they were given to hold upon entry. The cousins had a ball playing at the pool, on the beach and meeting up with other family, including Devin and his parents.  More pictures of our weekend adventures here.

Kate's birthday -- the aftermath

We had such a blast at Kate's birthday party today.  After the guests left, Kate, Aaron and Talia decided to get all Lord of the Flies with some sidewalk chalk.  The results were just a tad bit messy but quite hilarious!

Happy Fourth!

We celebrated the Fourth of July with a trip to Mimi and Poppa's in the Berkshires.  There is no better way to spend a holiday weekend than seeing friends and family.  Getting in some swimming time, a concert at Tanglewood, and quality R&R is just icing on the cake.  More pics of our weekend here.
