Aaron's first foray into organized sports has been quite the success. He loves dressing in his uniform every Saturday and joining his buddies from school to hit the field. His team employs a technique known as "the swarm," well-loved by many in the 4 to 5 year old set.
We spent an action packed week in Florida for spring break this year. We celebrated Passover and Easter with family, took the kids to Disneyworld for the day, spent time on the beach and at the pool, went to a carnival at Mimi and Poppa's club, and tried our hand at golf. Whew. More pics here.
Spring is here (it's about time!), and we took in the DC cherry blossoms in all their glory. Talia celebrated spring and the Easter bunny in her ballet class, then practiced with Dad's "ballet" slippers at home.
Aaron, Sloane and I enjoyed a spring hike in Rock Creek Park on a
lovely Sunday morning. We are so lucky to have a national park
basically in our backyard. Aaron waved to our house from the trail!
Aaron has been on a basketball tear during the past month, between watching Michigan in the NCAA Tournament and practicing at any available opportunity. Here he takes Talia one on one and drives to the hoop; all the more impressive given T is a lock-down defender.
