Nationals Game

Aaron and Talia finally got to go to their first Nats game on a beautiful 97 degree September afternoon. Some Nationals hats were a necessary addition to the afternoon.

End of summer

Celebrating the end of summer with a bike ride and picnic in Rock Creek Park.

Kindergarten!

It's official -- we have a kindergartener! Aaron was so amazing this
morning and couldn't wait to see his new class, teacher and
classmates. His mom, on the other hand, put on a brave face, but felt
like she left a little piece of her heart behind today.

Up North

Another August, another amazing trip to northern Michigan.  Although this year the weather didn't always cooperate -- and we dealt with our fair share of illness and injury (three stitches for poor Lucas!) -- eventually the weather cleared, people got healthy, and we could wile away the hours out on the lake.  Best of all was time spent with Grandma and Grandpa, cousins, aunts and uncles.  More pics here.
