Home sweet home

It's a bittersweet day today.  We are saying goodbye to our beloved family home on White Oaks Drive.  We moved in when I was a toddler, and Lizzie was no more than a future wish.  This house saw babies cradled, nightmares soothed away, messy kids bathed, first teeth lost, holidays celebrated, sports games won, countless family dinners enjoyed, boyfriends interrogated, tearful college departures and two little girls grow into adulthood, now with babies of their own.  As my parents move on to their fabulous new condo -- and no doubt become urban hipsters in the process -- Liz and I look back at our childhood and cherish every moment.  Thank you, Mom and Dad.  You could not have done it better.

Feeling springy

We have been thoroughly enjoying the lovely spring weather in DC.  Our days have been chock full -- biking (Aaron's a pro), hosting the Feffermans for a fabulous weekend, cheering Michigan's amazing run to the national championship game (Go Blue!!), a trip for KT to Denver to see Lucas and his family, and helping Grandma and Grandpa pack up and get ready to move out of their home of 35 years.  More spring pics here.
