Talia turns one

Somehow a full year has passed since our little Talia entered the world.  We celebrated with the obligatory chocolate cake, which she promptly rejected.  (Maybe she is her mother's daughter after all.)  We've watched Talia grow from a tiny lump of sleep and tears to a smiling, laughing, crawling little being with opinions that are all her own.  She brings such immeasurable joy to our lives -- we are so lucky.  Happy first birthday, sweetheart.

The joys of parenting

Wow -- what a weekend.  Our days were filled with the non-stop joy that is potty training, as well as nursing poor Talia back to health from her bout with RSV.  Needless to say, there were many empty wine bottles in the recycling this week.  The good news is that T is back to her old self, and Aaron is wearing undies!

Christmas went by in a blur, and even though we battled various colds, ear infections and other sundry illnesses, we had a blast spending time with family and enjoying the season.  Pictures here.
